High Blood Pressure Exercise and
Education Program
A program that includes exercise and education for individuals with high blood pressure. Our eight-week, state-of-the-art program is designed to help individuals take an active role in reducing and managing their blood pressure. Reducing blood pressure reduces the risk of developing heart disease and stroke.
Group sessions are led by a registered nurse and certified exercise specialist. Education includes learning healthy food choices, stress management techniques, strength and flexibility training, medication for high blood pressure, and ways to continue with a personal exercise program. Our program is designed for all adults; we monitor blood pressure before, during, and following exercise. You will gain support and knowledge to help you achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
Partial insurance coverage by some local HMOs.
