As your nursing journey begins - an open house for nursing students

What should you look for in your first nursing position? Where can you turn for advice? What are the right questions to ask? Unity’s nurses and Nursing leadership have been in your shoes—and we want to share our experiences with you. We’ll discuss everything from deciding on that all-important first nursing position to finding opportunities for professional development and choosing mentors. After this brief session, you can enjoy some refreshments and meet personally with nurse managers from units across Unity Health System. Then you can ask your own questions about our orientation process, what it’s like on each unit, and the benefits of working here. Our Human Resources representatives will also be on hand to help you with applications—or even schedule an on-the-spot interview, if you’d like! Register online or call 368-3000 by December 31, 2008.
